Happay was introduced as an expense management partner and showcased ways and means of how it can help the QSRs go cashless. Already operating in this space for more than 2 years, we have identified that QSRs/ multi-retail chains outlet operators face the following challenges in their day-to-day operations:
- Petty cash distribution is a very tedious activity
- Sales cash is being used for petty cash requirements leading to re-con problems
- There is almost a 30-day delayed visibility into spends
- The corporate office has very less control over the nature and type of expenses happening at multiple outlets
Even though there are solutions available in the market in form of cash cards offered by banks and stand-alone applications and ERPs to record such expenses, a comprehensive solution that provided an end-to-end solution was missing and that’s exactly where Happay has bridged the gap!

The platform offered by Fast Food & Café Convention gave us a chance to meet some really inspiring people and understand what all efforts go into scaling a brand. One common thing we found in the QSR industry is that all brands, at some stage, start small. However, the ones which embrace technology and are nimble enough to transform their operations as per the changing dynamics are the ones that eventually shape up as brands worth remembering.
